This is a pair of checkerboard flag patterned shorts from STANDARD CALIFORNIA.
While they are beach shorts, they can also be worn on the street. They are from an older release, and the original black and white checks have faded to a brown color, giving them a fantastic faded look.
These are no longer in production, making them quite rare. The inner button on the waistband is missing, but as these were originally designed as beach shorts with a tie closure, it doesn't affect wearability at all.
