A button-down shirt from the 23SS launch of Gate Label is now available.
The fabric is an authentic chambray material made from smooth Supima cotton. The design focuses on the pattern, imagining a neutral character that targets the middle ground between dressy and casual.
The collar shape looks great with a tie. The size balance of the body and sleeves provides a relaxed fit while maintaining the dignity of a dress shirt. Authentic gathered specifications for the cuffs and back yoke. The name tag is attached using the same yoke insertion method as the original Southwick. The buttons are moderately thick shell buttons. The stitch width and stitch count are adjusted to subtly evoke the atmosphere of a vintage dress shirt.
