The band formed in 1984 and were soon going down a storm on the Folk circuit, they were eventually signed to Demon Records by Elvis Costello. As each release heightened their profile, the band went on to records for several labels, including MCA and Silvertone, and became a major draw on the live circuit. However, they decided to call it a day in 1991, but not before playing an emotional final gig at London's Town And Country club - it is that famous gig that is featured on ""The Shooting."" Many of the bands key songs are performed, including ""The Green Fields Of France"" and ""Iron Masters"", which were both Independent Chart top ten hits.
