I'm not very knowledgeable about the specific years, so I'll leave it to those who are interested to judge from the photos.
These are 501xx jeans from around the 90s-00s. I think this pair has a really cool fade, which is unusual for this era.
What's even more rare is the vertical fading pattern.
I bought these at okidoki in Tomigaya, and the staff there also commented on how cool the fading was. They explained that the factories at the time were producing them with that kind of fabric combination.
However, it's not overly flashy.
I think these are a pretty good pair for everyday 501 wear.
