Introducing Inovonics' Fall Detection & Alarm Location Solutions

Inovonics, a leading innovator in wireless life-safety solutions, unveils two next-gen enhancements for senior living facilities: fall detection and alarm location. Existing Inovonics emergency call systems can now incorporate these advanced features, designed to boost resident well-being and streamline caregiving tasks. The Inovonics fall detection solution automatically notifies caregivers of potential falls, even if the resident can't press their pendant's button. The alarm location feature pinpoints the exact room and floor when location-enabled pendants are activated. The CarePoint Essential system by Lifeline Senior Living is now fully compatible with both solutions. Lifeline and Inovonics partnered with the Statesman Group's Manor Village at Desert Ridge in Phoenix to install the new system in Q2 2022. This updated CarePoint system significantly enhances resident care, undetected fall awareness can be life-saving, and fall detection accuracy has been impressive. The location feature is a vast improvement over the original system, allowing staff to swiftly locate residents, especially in large, multi-floor communities. Looking ahead, we anticipate further improvements to CarePoint Essential through our continued collaboration with Lifeline and Inovonics.
