Simply insert the neck of the wine bottle into the cradle, squeeze the clamps to hold the bottle in place, pull down the handle with your other hand to insert the corkscrew, and then return the handle to the starting position. In that final movement, the cork will be extracted. Release the clamps and remove the wine bottle from the cradle and the cork will fall to the floor! This wine bottle opener comes complete with a sturdy table stand for use anywhere, anytime. The natural wood base offers a rustic appearance, connected to the wine bottle opener via a 5/16" thick by 2" wide steel arm. Alternatively, this opener can be counter mounted without the stand for a more permanent placement. It can accommodate a maximum counter thickness of 1 3/4", ensuring compatibility in a variety of settings.
