• The motion sensor allows the light to automatically and temporarily turn on when a person or other object appears in areas such as hallways, yards, driveways, garages, etc. The motion sensor can be used both indoors and outdoors as it has the protection class IP65.
• The sensor detects sources of infrared radiation. It analyzes parameters such as the size of the object, the amount of heat emitted and the speed of movement between the different detection sectors. The sensor detects movement in its own axis and in its own radius.
• A movement within the detection field leads to automatic switching on of the lighting. From the moment of switching on, a continuous movement turns the lighting on permanently. Only the absence of movement in the detection field triggers a lighting maintenance time. A new movement in the detection field and its disappearance during the countdown triggers the lighting maintenance time from the beginning.
• Thanks to the type of operation, the DR-09-IP65 can be used as a presence detector. The range of the detection field is: for presence up to 6 m in diameter and for movement up to 20 m in diameter. The motion sensor is equipped with an automatic twilight function, which prevents the controlled lighting from turning on during the day.
• The detection status and readiness to turn on the lighting are only activated after dark. The time of sensor activation can be set by the user with a potentiometer. It is also possible to set the switch-on time of the receiver in the range of 3 s÷9 minutes.
