These CRL Aluminum Threaded Klik Poly-Nuts offer a highly efficient way to create permanent threads in thin materials, as little as .010" or .020" (.25 or .51 mm), and thick materials up to .080" or .125" (2 or 3.17 mm). Ideal for metal, fiberglass, and rigid plastic that were previously unsuitable for tapped threads. They provide a secure, nearly flush fit with excellent vibration resistance. A special installation tool sets these poly-nuts via compression, allowing them to hold their position and accept machine bolts and screws in thread sizes ranging from six head-32 thread to 3/8" (10 mm) head-16 thread.
