C.A.M.P. - Corsa Alpine - 55 cm

The most innovative pimple for glacier tours, winter alpinism and ski mountaineering available on the market. Constructed of aluminium alloy 7075-T6 like the super lightweight Corsa, it differs from the latter by the Alleima NanoflexTM alloy steel inserts on the head and shaft tip: two points that thus become far more resistant and durable without this at the expense of lightness. The curvature of the shaft optimises impact behaviour without compromising functionality when supporting and penetrating the snow. The grip surface in the lower part of the handle ensures a good grip. The opening between the shovel and shaft integrated in the headboard allows the attachment of a Corsa Leash wrist strap. However, for ice climbing, climbing in steep mixed terrain and for intensive steps are not recommended. Alleima NanoflexTM is an innovative steel alloy that is much more resistant and has a stronger hardness compared to thermally treated chrome molybdenum steel. This allows a reduction in the metal used and results in a remarkable weight reduction while maintaining the same load capacity.
