**Product Details:**
This is a work by the Kalakaua brand, known for its "Hyaku-tora" (Hundred Tigers) pattern, which is always the most popular among Japanese-patterned Hawaiian shirts. I recently acquired a large collection of Kalakaua brand pieces, all of which were Japanese-patterned rayon crepe shirts featuring cranes, hawks, dragons, landscapes, and other designs. Among them, I was incredibly fortunate to find the "Carp Streamer" pattern I'm presenting here. I had seen photos of it a few times through information from numerous vintage aloha shirt collectors, but this is the first time I've actually obtained a real piece and been able to bring it back to life. It's an incredibly rare piece.

While there's no doubt that the Kalakaua brand is a Hawaiian brand, unfortunately, the details are still unknown, except for the original label used for Japanese patterns like this one and the lowercase "Kalakaua" label used for Western patterns.
