The Gamut Paddle Holder is a mounted system that supports the weight of your paddle while you paddle. We designed it to keep kayakers as independent and active as possible, and for many, it’s meant the difference between continuing to kayak or giving it up entirely. The mount eliminates the weight of the paddle, reducing joint stress on your shoulders, back and joints which allows you to continue paddling for longer periods of time without discomfort. This makes Gamut well-suited for paddlers with shoulder pain, arthritis, injuries or other strength and mobility limitations. Anglers and photographers love it because they can simply "let go" and their paddle stays put. The mount uses a support post with an omni-directional rotating fulcrum to support the paddle, creating a fluid, energy-efficient motion. Your paddle is held in place with two YakAttack RotoGrips that accommodate both round and oval shafts. Optional paddle ties (sold separately) help keep your paddle firmly in place while you paddle. With a gentle tug, you can also pop your paddle out of the mount at any time.

- Hinged Mount works with most (but not all) sit-inside kayaks with cockpit widths from 18-26" and lengths of 36-48 and a mostly flat 1-2" coaming
