In 1978, the year Lotus revolutionized Formula 1 with ground-effect cars and dominated the season, Brabham's brilliant designer, Gordon Murray, designed the BT46.
This machine, characterized by its triangular cross-section monocoque and radiator wing that placed the radiator between the double front wings, stood out significantly as other teams were successively producing Lotus copycats. Its form is still quite cool even today.
At the 14th Italian Grand Prix, N. Lauda won, and J. Watson came in second, achieving a stunning one-two finish.
This is a highly recommended model that perfectly harmonizes Gordon Murray's unique ideas and aesthetic sense.
The product has been carefully stored at home, but being old, there are some scratches on the case and some yellowing of the base due to aging. The car body appears to be in beautiful condition.
